Bill Hawes and Todd Friemel founded Twin Shores Management in 2006 with an initial concentration on retail and entertainment construction. They have grown the business together from a small commercial builder to a premier national developer and commercial construction contractor.

Twin Shores has completed hundreds of projects in 44 states and has an average annual construction volume of $100 million. Since the company started, the goal has been to put clients first by forming strong partnerships.

Todd Friemel

Principal, Operations

Having been in the construction industry for more than 23 years, Todd brings vital operating expertise to Twin Shores. Todd has a degree in Construction Engineering from Iowa State University and experience in excavation, trucking, concrete and carpentry. After graduation, he went on to manage more than $100 million in construction projects for several national general contractors.

Todd manages operations and oversees all Twin Shores projects. Todd provides creative solutions to complex construction requirements by collaborating with other teams in the company. This helps Twin Shores deliver projects on time and on budget. He develops, monitors and enhances day-to-day processes and provides valuable insight into risk management and subcontractor management.

Todd is constantly promoting a team approach and believes client trust is achieved by consistently exceeding expectations.

Bill Hawes

Principal, Development

Bill has more than 28 years of experience in commercial construction and development. He has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Twin Shores. He has been instrumental in completing hundreds of construction projects across the country. His vision and creativity make Bill perfect for his development role in the company.

Bill directs client budget development and value engineering, negotiates contracts and explores alternative project delivery methods. He is also responsible for Twin Shores’ business development, expanding its service offerings and real estate investment opportunities.

Bill makes sure that communication with clients remains clear and proactive throughout the project life cycle. He is committed to making Twin Shores the preferred commercial construction general contractor to all clients.
